Agate is the name given to numerous varieties of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. Agate is known to help enhance one’s communication as well as their analytical abilities. Agate has beautiful natural colouring, but can also be dyed different colours. It frequently contains cavaties that may or may not be drusy.
