Libyan Desert Glass with Cristobalite

This amazing Libyan Glass Specimen also contains 'Snow ball" like inclusions which is known as Christobalite. 
Christobalite inclusions give us clues about the rapid melting and cooling history of the glass following a meteorite impact or cosmic airburst roughly 29 million years ago.

Libyan Desert Glass is found approximately on the boarders of Libya and Egypt. It is a form of tektite and is known to be a stone of transformation which enhances energies that resonate to the solar plexus, sacral and third eye. Libyan Desert Glass is approximately 29 million years old, give or take 2 million years.
