Orange Selenite Soapstone

Selenite often contains markings as it is a soft stone. Each is unique and may appear different to the image provided. Size and weight is averaged. Selenite will often contain line formations through the stone and shades of orange vary between pieces.

Selenite, satin spar, desert rose, and gypsum flower are four varieties of the mineral gypsum; all four varieties show obvious crystalline structure. The four "crystalline" varieties of gypsum are sometimes grouped together and called selenite. Selenite is believed to be a powerful protection stone, creating a soft peaceful environment and unblocking mental clarity.

Each is unique and may appear slightly different in colour, shape and size from the example photographed. Size and Weight are averaged. Sold singularly.
