Bloodstone is green chalcedony with red inclusions of iron oxide or red jasper. Bloodstone is believed to be a stone of rejuvenation and power, aiding in energy flow around the body. Bloodstone is known as a healing stone used to cleanse and realign the lower chakras with the heart, and is conducive to balancing the total body in order to overcome any distress or anxiety associated with re-alignment of these energies.
