Selenite Heart

Selenite, satin spar, desert rose, and gypsum flower are four varieties of the mineral gypsum; all four varieties show obvious crystalline structure. Selenite is porous and it is not advised to submerge underwater as it effects the structure of the crystal and may become flaky and brittle; causing it to be more susceptible to breakage. The four "crystalline" varieties of gypsum are sometimes grouped together and called selenite. Selenite is believed to be a powerful cleansing stone, removing unwanted energies in the environment and revitalising one's own Auric field. 

Each is unique and may appear slightly different in colour, shape and size from the example photographed. Size and Weight are averaged.
