Teething bracelets are made of Baltic Amber; in theory when a baby wears a teething bracelet, their body heat triggers the release of a miniscule amount of oil that contains succinic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the body. When the oil is absorbed it has an analgesic effect for pain relief by wearing the bracelet, not chewing!
