Citrine is a variety of quartz whose colour ranges from a pale yellow to brown. Natural Citrine is rare; most commercial Citrine is heat-treated Amethyst. Brazil is the leading producer of Citrine. Believed to be one of the most uplifting of all the Quartz's; great for the liver and kidneys.

Citrine is believed to be excellent in balancing one's emotions as well as attracting wealth and prosperity into one's life. Citrine is known to help one release negative traits, depression, fears and phobias.
