Orthoceras Fossil Blade

Listing is for one fossil blade. These blades range in size from approximately 12-18cm long.

Orthoceras ("straight horn") is a genus of extinct nautiloid cephalopod. This genus is sometimes called Orthoceratites. Orthoceras can be found in sizes ranging from less than a centimetre to more than 14 feet long. Orthoceras is the ancestor of Ammonites and squids.

Orthoceras, otherwise known as "straight horn" is a genus of extinct nautiloid cephalopod. Orthoceras fossils occur in any marine rock, especially in limestone.

Contains chips and natural cracks. Each is unique and may appear slightly different in colour, shape and size from the example photographed. Size and Weight are averaged.
