Tektite Specimen

Tektites are currently known to only occur within four geographically extensive strewn feilds. These are the Australasian, Central European, Ivery Coast, and North America strewn fields. Tektites within each strewn feild are related to eachother through their petrological, physical, and chemical properties; as well as their age. Three out of four strewn fields have been clearly identified to be linked with impact craters through the identification of these properties.
