Natural Smokey Quartz Point Specimen

The name Citrine comes from the French word citron, meaning lemon. Most Citrine is formed by heat treating purple Amethyst. In some Amethyst deposits, the Amethyst has been partially or fully changed over to yellow Citrine by natural means of heating.

This piece has an imperfect point. 

Smokey/Smoky quartz is a believed to be a very protective and grounding stone. It is known to be an excellent stone for protection from negative energy, as It removes negativity and negative energy of any kind and transforms it to positive energy. Quartz has natural surface and harline cracks.
