Teething bracelets are made of Baltic Amber; in theory when a baby wears a teething bracelet, their body heat triggers the release of a miniscule amount of oil that contains succinic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the body. When the oil is absorbed it has an analgesic effect for pain relief by wearing the bracelet, not chewing!   Warning! Active supervision is required at all times for children wearing Amber Teething Jewellery. Our Jewellery are made for wearing, and are NOT designed for children to chew or put into the mouth, nose or ears. All jewellery should be removed from children when they are unattended, active adult supervision is required at all times. Ensure you regularly check Amber jewellery for cracks or breaks in beads that could cause sharp edges.
