Black Obsidian Arrow Head
- In stock:
Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. The smooth glassy structure, the hardness and density of the rock made for excellent cutting and piercing tools in the ancient times.
Please note: While obsidian was used as arrow heads thousands of years ago, these particular arrow heads have been carved in modern times.
Each one is unique and may appear different from the image. Size and weight are an average.
