Citrine

The name Citrine comes from the French word citron, meaning lemon. Most Citrine is formed by heat treating purple Amethyst. In some Amethyst deposits, the Amethyst has been partially or fully changed over to yellow Citrine by natural means of heating. Citrine is believed to enhance concentration and revitalize the mind. It is believed to release negative traits, depression, fears and phobias. Citrine is known to attract wealth and prosperity into one's life.
