Purple Agate Bookends

These Agate Bookends have been dyed a beautiful purple colour.

Agate is the name given to numerous varieties of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. Agate is known to help enhance one’s communication as well as their analytical abilities. The believed “grounding energy” of Agate helps to make one feel secure and stable within their home, work and personal environments. Agate has beautiful natural colouring, but can also be dyed different colours. It frequently contains cavaties that may or may not be drusy.

Measurements are taken with both bookends placed together.
